Fidele is a young videographer and video editor who works at a local studio. Every day, he films, edits, and helps clients bring their ideas to life. While many people would see this as just a job, Fidele sees it as an opportunity to grow his skills and build his future.

Because he loves creating content, Fidele uses his free time at the studio to film short, creative videos for TikTok. He experiments with new editing techniques, follows current trends, and shares content that entertains and inspires people. Every video helps him improve his creativity and expand his audience.

Over time, his consistency and passion began to pay off. His content attracted more followers, and brands and businesses started reaching out to collaborate with him. What began as a hobby became an additional source of income alongside his studio job

I chose this story because I wanted to show people that opportunities are not always something we wait for, they are often found in the places where we already are. Whereby Fidele made the most of his workplace, developing his skills, and staying consistent, he transformed his passion into a career with multiple streams of income.

His story is an inspiration to other young people. No matter where you start, the opportunities around you can become steppingstones toward your goals. With creativity, discipline, and a willingness to learn, it is possible to build a meaningful career while contributing positively to your community.

The challenge I faced was getting the permission to take pictures in the public places such as where he was in the road where some people are not comfortable and might think you are taking them pictures which can be considered as invading their privacy which is true.

This project improved my understanding in photojournalism by teaching me how to tell meaningful stories through images, whereby documenting Fidele showed me the importance of capturing real-life moments that inspire and inform others.
